These letters were written by me to my grandson Teddy and granddaughter Margaret, between the years 1920 and 1927. They were living in India with their Father, a naval officer, mother and younger sisters, Anne and Elizabeth.

My great-grandson, Charles will be reading you a new letter on the internet every fortnight

Just click on the envelope to hear Charles read one. If your computer has the Flash plug-in loaded you will see and hear the animated version, if it does not, you will simply see the static letters.

If you wish to download the Flash plug-in, please click here.

The Flash letters are about 400kb each, and could take 2-3 minutes to download, depending on connection speeds.
